A sure sign of Spring is the arrival of new baby chicks.
A sure sign of Spring is when the new baby chicks arrive at the Ranch. We took delivery of 14 new chicks on
May 13. They are settled in and doing well. They will grow quickly and be providing fresh eggs before you
know it. We want to congratulate the winners of our recent Mother's Day Basket raffle. Wendy Shaw of Mars Hill
won the Personal Items basket. Fred Dixon of Bridgewater won the Garden Items basket. Trina Lento of Mars Hill
won the Candy Basket. Thanks to all who donated items to assist with this fund raising event. Our next project
will be planting the Ranch garden.
As a non-profit organization, Healing Hearts Ranch relies heavily, almost solely, on donations to maintain our programs. Our Annual Carnival Day is our
largest fund raising event of the year. We partner on a daily basis with many businesses, churches, and individuals in order to provide
key programs for 'at risk' and 'special needs' children in Aroostook County. We thank those who participated in
this year's carnival day, and hope you might choose to partner with us on a full time basis. Check our 'Wish List' for ways you can help.
The Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club's tractor train was a big hit again.
