The Carnival Day hay rides were popular once again this year.

Saturday, September 20 marked our Third Annual and most successful Carnival Day ever!! We were blessed with outstanding weather and strong attendance all day. Over 400 people visited the ranch and shared in the fun. Click HERE to see some photos from this year's event. This year the Northern Division of the Maine Antique Tractor Club was on hand with their "Tractor Train" and an antique tractor pulled our hay ride. All the Carnival favorites were in place along with new events too! We served 100 baked stuffed potatoes and almost 300 hot dogs from the food booth. The silent auction, dunk tank and pie throwing were also popular events once again.

Events like Carnival Day would not be possible without the wide ranging support of volunteers and the community as a whole. From donating goods or services for the silent auction or baking for the bake sale, to helping prepare for, or participating in the event. Every little bit helps. Many people gave unselfishly to make our day a success.

Many folks gave of their time and talents. Some people allowed us to use their games or other items. Others made cash donations or donated goods and services towards the event. The combined efforts helped make our event a success and went a long way towards our goal of keeping six months of operating expenses on hand to ensure the security of our programs.

Below we will list the fine folks and businesses that helped us with Carnival Day hoping that we don't forget anyone. We also have prepared a video, below on the left, giving a overview of the day. Thanks to everyone, from volunteers and donors, to those who visited the ranch for our best event ever!!!
